Bio
Patricia Alexander is a licensed cosmetologist with over 27 years of experience. Her interest in hair began at the tender age of 8 and by the age of 16 she was working as a shampoo assistant in her aunt’s hair salon in Silver Spring, MD. Pat has formal education in hair care, training professionally at Hair Academy -New Carrolton, MD.
In 2004, she opened her first Salon, Pat’s Hair Care Studio (PHS) where she developed styles for a diverse range of clientele and mentored staff under her tutelage. Pat possesses a knack for helping her clientele choose a look that best accentuates their attributes. She is passionate about maintaining healthy hair, which can be seen in the finished look of all those who sit in her chair.
Pat’s outstanding work ethic and outgoing personality has given her staying power in the “ever-evolving” beauty industry. Her strategy for success is simple. She does not focus primarily on remaining on trend but addressing the needs and overall health of the hair. In fact, she is known for telling her clients, “It’s not just a hairstyle, it’s a lifestyle.”
